MUSING MONDAYS 004: A roundup of things I've been thinking deeply about from the previous week, but not enough to write a dedicated blog post about it (yet).
MAYBE ADULTHOOD STARTS AT 30?
Someone told me that I was "born an adult" the other day, but they also did not hesitate to make fun of me when I claimed I was an adult. When does adulthood truly start then? What marks adulthood? I remember reading an article (I will update when I find the source) about how the "true start" of adulthood is no longer in your 20s, but in your 30s. What do you think?
TEN BULLETS
I love lists, if it isn't obvious enough from this blog. I purchased a few things from the Tom Sachs merchandise store, one of them being a Ten Bullets tee. It was based off a series of videos created by Van Neistat which outlined the codes of Tom Sachs' studio. I listed them down myself in another notebook, so aweinspired by how definitive the rules were. It interests me to see what people's guides and codes are, and it has inspired me to write my own codes and make them more concrete. So far, I started with my ten bullets on romantic relationships.
ANOTHER BOILER ROOM SET
The best way I feel energized in the morning is by listening to electronic music, and as such, I've been listening to a lot of house / club / teletech. Lately I've been listening to more sets from the Boiler Room, and really like TAAHLIAH's Boiler Room Set. It keeps getting better with every minute.
