MUSING MONDAYS 002: A roundup of things I've been thinking deeply about from the previous week, but not enough to write a dedicated blog post about it (yet).
WEST SIDE STORY (1961) & WEST SIDE STORY (2021)
I know this is such a classic and I'm only discovering it as of late, but since I have discovered it, I have been alternating between each version almost every night. While I prefer the storyline of the 2021 version, both movies are incredible!
SOCIAL MEDIA BREAKS
A while back, around March/April, I did an Instagram break. I deactivated my account to ensure that I would stick to my break. However, two people worriedly contacted me through 3 different outlets to make sure that I was ok! It made me realize the important role that social media plays in my life and the way that I connect with others. As much as I want to go on a social media break, a part of me feels like it isn't possible for this reason.
COVID!!
I've been recovering from COVID for the past week. I got in contact two weeks ago, then got the fever and other COVID-related symptoms July 16th. My tests have been gradually been fading and fading. Thank god!!!!
